Full Moon in Aries, 15 October: your 4th house
Friday 15 October brings the Full Moon at 21°58′ Aries, exact at 13:47 UTC, opposite the Sun in Libra, and for Capricorn it lands in the 4th house, the house of home, family and roots.
In the old reckoning the Full Moon was the month’s midpoint, a time to gather in, and in October the gathering happens in your 4th house, the Subterranean: how much of your energy goes into a place, and how much comes back from it. In your 4th house this October, Aries makes the mood direct and impatient, more willing to begin than to wait. With the Sun across the chart in your 10th house, the October Full Moon speaks along the axis of home and career: the private root and the public branch of a life.
If you want something to do with this October lunation, do one small act that makes your home feel more ordered and protected.
Beyond the Sun sign
Your Sun sign is only part of 2027
A Capricorn forecast reads the year by your Sun sign alone. The Road of Ages reads the turning points of your whole life from your own birth date, and shows where you stand on it now.
See the year on your own RoadNew Moon in Scorpio, 29 October: your 11th house
On Friday 29 October the Moon and the Sun meet at 5°54′ Scorpio, at 13:37 UTC; for Capricorn that degree lies in the 11th house, the house of friends, hopes and community.
At a New Moon the Sun and the Moon stand together, and the old almanacs marked the turn of the month for planting; this October the planting is in your 11th house, the Good Spirit, where the tradition looks for a beginning in community: a cause taken up, a circle formed, an ally found. For Capricorn this October, Scorpio, fixed water ruled by Mars in the old books, gives it an intense and private manner.

Planets changing sign or direction in October
Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio, your 11th house: from the Earth it seems to halt and reverse, the start of one of its 3 backward loops this year, which ends on 28 October. The turn comes on 7 October, at 4°55′ Scorpio, and Mercury retrograde in your 11th house is read as old friends reappearing and group plans needing to be renegotiated.
Venus crosses into Scorpio on 8 October and so into your 11th house. Until 1 November, Venus in your 11th house sweetens friendship: gatherings, warm alliances and hopes that feel nearer than usual.
Mars crosses into Sagittarius on 15 October and so into your 12th house. Until 25 November, with Mars in the house of hidden things, the tradition reads a spell to exercise, rest and keep anger from going underground.
Mercury, moving retrograde, slips back into Libra on 16 October, returning to your 10th house until 10 November, a house it passed through before it turned. What it touched there in career and calling, and reputation is read as coming back for a second look before Mercury moves on.
Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, your 2nd house, a slow turn spread over several days. The turn comes around 18 October, at 4°44′ Aquarius, and since a slow planet’s turn is felt over weeks rather than on a day, the tradition would look for it in Capricorn’s what you value and self-worth through October.
On 23 October at 15:33 UTC the Sun crosses into Scorpio, which for Capricorn is the 11th house. Until 22 November, the Sun in your 11th house makes a month for friends, groups and hopes for the future.
Mercury stations direct in Libra, your 10th house, and begins to move forward again, closing the loop it began on 7 October. The turn comes on 28 October, at 19°18′ Libra. From 28 October the matters of your 10th house, reputation and public life among them, are read as ready to move forward again, gently at first.
Love, work and money for Capricorn in October
Venus begins October in Libra, your 10th house, and enters Scorpio, your 11th, on 8 October, turning affection toward friendship inside love, and the friends who become something more.
Mars, the planet of effort, moves from Scorpio, your 11th, into Sagittarius (your 12th) on 15 October, so the drive of the month shifts toward work behind the scenes, research and anything done out of public view.
For money, no lunation or fast planet changes in your 2nd house (Aquarius) or your 8th (Leo) in October, so the tradition would put the month’s weight elsewhere and leave Capricorn’s budgets to ordinary prudence.
