New Moon in Gemini, 4 June: your 6th house
On Friday 4 June the Moon and the Sun meet at 13°58′ Gemini, at 19:40 UTC; for Capricorn that degree lies in the 6th house, the house of daily work, habits and health routines.
In the old reckoning the New Moon was the threshold every month was counted from, and the June threshold stands in your 6th house, Bad Fortune, read as a fresh start with the body’s maintenance: sleep, food, movement, the appointment you keep postponing. Set in your 6th house, the June lunation takes its tone from its sign: Gemini lends it lightness, wit and a short attention span.
A practice for the June New Moon: choose one habit that would make tomorrow easier, and do it today.
Beyond the Sun sign
Your Sun sign is only part of 2027
A Capricorn forecast reads the year by your Sun sign alone. The Road of Ages reads the turning points of your whole life from your own birth date, and shows where you stand on it now.

The Full Moon is exact at 00:44 UTC on Saturday 19 June, with the Moon at 27°33′ Sagittarius and the Sun opposite in Gemini. For Capricorn the Moon lights your 12th house, the house of rest, solitude and the hidden life, while the Sun stands across in your 6th.
Astrology reads a Full Moon as an axis rather than a point, and the June axis runs through your 12th house, the Bad Spirit, showing a hidden pattern, a secret worry or a private kindness coming to light. For Capricorn this June, Sagittarius lends it optimism, frankness and an appetite for meaning. Read as an axis, from your 12th house to your 6th, this June Full Moon runs along the axis of work and rest: the duties of the day and the retreat that restores you.
If you want something to do with this June lunation, finish something that has lingered so long you stopped seeing it.
Planets changing sign or direction in June
Venus crosses into Gemini on 8 June and so into your 6th house. Until 3 July, with Venus in your house of daily work, the tradition reads a spell for making the routine more beautiful and the workplace more humane.
Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer, your 7th house, appearing to stand still and then move backward through the zodiac for 24 days, until 4 July. The turn comes on 10 June, at 6°21′ Cancer, and Mercury retrograde in your 7th house is read as a time to revisit agreements and to clear up a misunderstanding with a partner.
On 21 June at 14:11 UTC the Sun crosses into Cancer, which for Capricorn is the 7th house. Until 23 July, the Sun on the Setting, your 7th house, makes a month in which partners, clients and rivals take the stage.
Mercury, moving retrograde, slips back into Gemini on 26 June, returning to your 6th house until 12 July, a house it passed through before it turned. What it touched there in daily work, and routines and habits is read as coming back for a second look before Mercury moves on.
Love, work and money for Capricorn in June
Venus begins June in Taurus, your 5th house, and enters Gemini, your 6th, on 8 June, turning affection toward the everyday care two people give each other, and the chores that can sour a home.
Mars stays in Virgo all month, your 9th house, putting the month’s effort into teaching, publishing, law, travel for work and further qualifications. The New Moon on 4 June lands in your 6th, a house the tradition gives to work and health.
For money, no lunation or fast planet changes in your 2nd house (Aquarius) or your 8th (Leo) in June, so the tradition would put the month’s weight elsewhere and leave Capricorn’s budgets to ordinary prudence.
