New Moon in Pisces, 8 March: your 4th house
On Monday 8 March the Moon and the Sun meet at 17°34′ Pisces, at 09:30 UTC; for Sagittarius that degree lies in the 4th house, the house of home, family and roots.
A New Moon is read as an opening rather than an event, so the March lunation is less a happening than an invitation in your 4th house, the Subterranean: a fresh start with a parent or with the memory of one. For Sagittarius this March, Pisces makes the mood compassionate and porous, close to dreams and to prayer.
If you want something to do with this March lunation, mend one thing in the house that you have stepped around for months.
Beyond the Sun sign
Your Sun sign is only part of 2027
A Sagittarius forecast reads the year by your Sun sign alone. The Road of Ages reads the turning points of your whole life from your own birth date, and shows where you stand on it now.
See the year on your own RoadFull Moon in Libra, 22 March: your 11th house
Monday 22 March brings the Full Moon at 1°35′ Libra, exact at 10:44 UTC, opposite the Sun in Aries, and for Sagittarius it lands in the 11th house, the house of friends, hopes and community.
At a Full Moon the Moon faces the Sun across the sky, and this March it faces it from your 11th house, the Good Spirit, lighting the result of a group effort, a campaign or a long-held hope. In your 11th house this March, Libra makes the mood gracious and fair-minded, inclined to weigh before choosing. With the Sun across the chart in your 5th house, the March Full Moon speaks along the axis of the heart and the hope: personal joy and the friends and causes you belong to.
A practice for the March Full Moon: reach toward one person or group that strengthens your long view.
Planets changing sign or direction in March
Venus enters Aquarius on 1 March, your 3rd house. Until 26 March, with Venus in your house of words, the tradition reads a spell for gentle conversation and for the charm of the everyday.
Mercury turns direct in Aquarius, in your 3rd house: the backward loop that began on 9 February ends, and plans that stalled can move again, a little slowly at first. The turn comes on 3 March, at 20°55′ Aquarius. For Sagittarius what was under review in conversations, and writing and messages can begin to move after 3 March, though the tradition counsels a few more days before signing or launching anything large.
Mercury crosses into Pisces on 18 March and so into your 4th house. Until 8 April, with Mercury at the root of your chart, the tradition reads a spell for talking things through at home and for planning a move or a repair.
On 20 March at 20:25 UTC the Sun crosses into Aries, which for Sagittarius is the 5th house. Until 20 April, the Sun in your 5th house, the old books’ Good Fortune, makes a month for romance, creativity and play.
Venus enters Pisces on 26 March, your 4th house. Until 20 April, Venus in your 4th house brings affection home: a spell for making the house beautiful and for mending things with family.
Love, work and money for Sagittarius in March
Venus begins March in Capricorn, your 2nd house, and enters Aquarius, your 3rd, on 1 March, and enters Pisces, your 4th, on 26 March, turning affection toward living together, family plans and the private life a couple shares.
Mars stays in Leo all month, your 9th house, putting the month’s effort into teaching, publishing, law, travel for work and further qualifications.
For money, no lunation or fast planet changes in your 2nd house (Capricorn) or your 8th (Cancer) in March, so the tradition would put the month’s weight elsewhere and leave Sagittarius’s budgets to ordinary prudence.
