October 24 is a cusp birthday, usually Scorpio; in some years the Sun is still in Libra for part of this date, so check your birth year and time: in 12 of the 91 years from 1940 to 2030 the Sun crossed from Libra into Scorpio during October 24 counted in UTC, most recently in 1979, and at noon UTC it stood in Scorpio in every year, so the change came before noon, early in the day. For a birth on October 24 the year, the time and the place settle the sign: convert the time of birth to UTC and compare it with the minute the Sun changed sign that year, or let the zodiac sign calculator do it from your date, time and city.

At noon UTC on October 24 the Sun is in the first decan of Scorpio, 0° to 10°, in every one of those years, a face that belongs to Mars in the Chaldean order and is read through Scorpio, ruled by Mars, by triplicity, so the two systems agree; in most years the decan runs from October 24 to November 2, and October 24 is its first day.

In most years October 24 is the 1st day of the Sun’s season in Scorpio, which runs from October 24 to November 21 counted at noon UTC, with 28 days of it still to come. October 24 is the 297th day of a common year and the 298th of a leap year, with 68 days of the year still to come after it.

October 24 birthday personality

Both systems give the first decan of Scorpio to Mars, its traditional ruler, so the old reading is intensity with a purpose, a will that does not let go of what it has chosen. Its gift is staying power, and its lesson that not every slight needs remembering.

Born on the 24th, 2 and 4 make 6: cooperation and structure becoming care. Numerology reads it as a devoted birthday, for people who make homes and keep their promises. Water with a 6 is read as devoted care, the one who notices who is struggling before anyone says so.

Where Libra gives way to Scorpio the scales meet the depths, a love of harmony meeting a need for the whole truth. Some readers take a birthday this close to the change to carry something of both signs, a symbolic reading the calculation cannot measure; which sign the Sun was in at a birth is a matter of fact, settled by the year, the time and the place.

A question to carry from October 24: how could your depth care for others this month without neglecting yourself?

The Sun in Scorpio and the number 6 are only part of the story: your Moon, your rising sign and the rest of your chart have as much to say, and the tradition offers all this as a mirror, never a verdict.

Birthday number 6

Born on the 24th, 2 + 4 = 6, so your birthday number is 6: a 6 vibration supports love, responsibility, beauty, family, and service, with care, beauty, and responsibility as its gift and over-giving, perfectionism, or control through care as its strain.

For a birthday on October 24 the house method reduces the birth month and the day on their own and adds the Universal Year of 2027, 11 (2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11, a master number kept whole), as it stands: October, the 10th month, reduces to 1, the 24th reduces to 6, and 1 + 6 + 11 = 18, which reduces to 9, so 2027 is your Personal Year 9.

A Personal Year 9 is read as the closing year of a nine-year cycle, a time to finish, forgive and clear space. With the Universal Year an 11, the house reads the release as making room for an inspired new beginning.

Personal Months of 2027, a Personal Year 9: Jan 1 Feb 11 Mar 3 Apr 4 May 5 Jun 6 Jul 7 Aug 8 Sep 9 Oct 1 Nov 2 Dec 3

In 2027 October 24 falls on a Sunday, the day the old reckoning gives to the Sun, and is a Personal Day 7 (1 + 24 = 25, then 7) in a Personal Month 1 (9 + 10 = 19, then 1), while February is a master month 11; the Personal Year itself turns on 1 January, not on the birthday.
