What sets Numerology apart
Numerology is the practice of reading numbers drawn from dates and names as symbols, and its name is modern: the word dates from the early twentieth century. Its main working rule is reduction, summing digits to a number from 1 to 9 with 11, 22 and 33 kept in some schools. It sits between ancient number philosophy and modern self-reflection, and offers no evidence that a number shapes an outcome.
