The Birthday Number is the least processed core number: it is only the day of the month on which one was born, with no month, year or letters involved. Days 1 to 9 stand as they are, and days 10 to 31 are read in two layers, the full day and its reduced digit. Only the 11th, 22nd and 29th, 29 reducing to 11, touch master numbers.
- Range: only 31 possible days, giving the numbers 1 to 9 after reduction
- Reduction example: the 26th gives 2 + 6 = 8; the 19th gives 1 + 9 = 10, then 1
- Master days: the 11th and 22nd stay as they are; the 29th gives 11/2 in schools that keep masters
