Full Moon in Gemini, 13 December: your 11th house
On Monday 13 December the Moon comes full at 21°24′ Gemini, at 16:09 UTC, facing the Sun in Sagittarius; for Leo it fills the 11th house, the house of friends, hopes and community, from across the 5th.
At a Full Moon the Moon faces the Sun across the sky, and this December it faces it from your 11th house, the Good Spirit, lighting what you hope for, seen clearly enough to tell whether it is still yours. For Leo this December, Gemini makes the mood talkative and changeable, happier with two options than one. With the Sun across the chart in your 5th house, the December Full Moon speaks along the axis of the heart and the hope: personal joy and the friends and causes you belong to.
A practice for the December Full Moon: notice which groups leave you better than they found you.
Beyond the Sun sign
Your Sun sign is only part of 2027
A Leo forecast reads the year by your Sun sign alone. The Road of Ages reads the turning points of your whole life from your own birth date, and shows where you stand on it now.
See the year on your own RoadNew Moon in Capricorn, 27 December: your 6th house
On Monday 27 December the Moon and the Sun meet at 5°50′ Capricorn, at 20:12 UTC; for Leo that degree lies in the 6th house, the house of daily work, habits and health routines.
The tradition reads a New Moon as a seed rather than a harvest, and the December seed falls in your 6th house, Bad Fortune of the old books: a fresh start with the body’s maintenance: sleep, food, movement, the appointment you keep postponing. In your 6th house this December, Capricorn, cardinal earth ruled by Saturn, gives it a sober and ambitious manner, built for the long climb.
One way for Leo to meet it in December: thank someone whose help makes your days easier.
Planets changing sign or direction in December
Neptune turns direct in Aries, your 9th house, a slow turn spread over several days. The turn comes around 15 December, at 3°51′ Aries, and since a slow planet’s turn is felt over weeks rather than on a day, the tradition would look for it in Leo’s higher learning, and teachers and teaching through December.
Mercury enters Capricorn on 18 December, your 6th house. Until 6 January 2028, with Mercury in your house of daily work, the tradition reads a spell for organizing routines and fixing what keeps going wrong.
Venus enters Aquarius on 19 December, your 7th house. Until 13 January 2028, Venus in your 7th house favors partnership: the tradition reads a spell for courtship, reconciliation and agreements made in good faith.
The Sun enters Capricorn, your 6th house, on 22 December at 02:42 UTC. Until 20 January 2028, with the Sun in your house of daily work, the season favors order, health routines and finishing what is half done.
Saturn stations direct in Aries, your 9th house, ending the loop it began on 9 August. The turn comes on 24 December, at 21°01′ Aries, and in your 9th house its renewed motion touches faith and belief, long journeys, and higher learning.
Love, work and money for Leo in December
Venus begins December in Capricorn, your 6th house, and enters Aquarius, your 7th, on 19 December, turning affection toward marriage, committed partnership and the person across the table, most directly of all the houses.
Mars stays in Capricorn all month, your 6th house, putting the month’s effort into the daily job, colleagues, workload and routine, most directly of all the houses. The New Moon on 27 December lands in your 6th, a house the tradition gives to work and health.
For money, no lunation or fast planet changes in your 2nd house (Virgo) or your 8th (Pisces) in December, so the tradition would put the month’s weight elsewhere and leave Leo’s budgets to ordinary prudence.
