Full Moon in Pisces, 15 September: your 9th house
The Full Moon is exact at 23:04 UTC on Wednesday 15 September, with the Moon at 22°53′ Pisces and the Sun opposite in Virgo. For Cancer the Moon lights your 9th house, the house of faith, travel and higher learning, while the Sun stands across in your 3rd.
The tradition reads a Full Moon as a culmination, and the September Full Moon brings it to your 9th house, the God in the old books, where it shows how far you have traveled, in miles or in mind, since the year began. In your 9th house this September, Pisces, mutable water ruled by Jupiter in the old books, gives it a gentle and imaginative manner. With the Sun across the chart in your 3rd house, the September Full Moon speaks along the axis of the near and the far: daily words and larger beliefs, errands and pilgrimages.
A practice for the September Full Moon: share something you know with someone who is starting out.
Beyond the Sun sign
Your Sun sign is only part of 2027
A Cancer forecast reads the year by your Sun sign alone. The Road of Ages reads the turning points of your whole life from your own birth date, and shows where you stand on it now.
See the year on your own RoadNew Moon in Libra, 30 September: your 4th house
Thursday 30 September brings the New Moon at 6°43′ Libra, exact at 02:36 UTC, and for Cancer it falls in the 4th house, the house of home, family and roots.
The tradition reads a New Moon as a seed rather than a harvest, and the September seed falls in your 4th house, the Subterranean of the old books: a new beginning at home: a room set right, a move considered, a family pattern looked at honestly. For Cancer this September, Libra makes the mood gracious and fair-minded, inclined to weigh before choosing.
One way for Cancer to meet it in September: write down what home means to you now, not what it meant when you were young.
Planets changing sign or direction in September
Mars crosses into Scorpio on 2 September and so into your 5th house. Until 15 October, Mars in your 5th house fires up desire and play: bold romance, competitive games and creative work done in a rush.
On 3 September Mercury moves into Libra, which is your 4th house. Until 27 September, Mercury in your 4th house brings thought home: family conversations, household plans and memories that want sorting.
On 13 or 14 September Venus moves into Libra, which is your 4th house. Until 8 October, Venus in your 4th house brings affection home: a spell for making the house beautiful and for mending things with family.
Uranus turns retrograde in Gemini, your 12th house, a slow turn spread over several days. The turn comes around 15 September, at 9°57′ Gemini, and since a slow planet’s turn is felt over weeks rather than on a day, the tradition would look for it in Cancer’s hidden patterns, and prayer and the inner life through September.
The Sun enters Libra, your 4th house, on 23 September at 06:02 UTC. Until 23 October, with the Sun in your house of roots, the season turns inward, toward the household, the past and the people who are family.
On 27 September Mercury moves into Scorpio, which is your 5th house. Until 16 October, with Mercury in the house of Good Fortune, the tradition reads a light, witty spell, good for creative work and for courtship by conversation.
Love, work and money for Cancer in September
Venus begins September in Virgo, your 3rd house, and enters Libra, your 4th, on 13 or 14 September, turning affection toward living together, family plans and the private life a couple shares.
Mars, the planet of effort, moves from Libra, your 4th, into Scorpio (your 5th) on 2 September, so the drive of the month shifts toward creative work and any project you care about for its own sake.
For money, no lunation or fast planet changes in your 2nd house (Leo) or your 8th (Aquarius) in September, so the tradition would put the month’s weight elsewhere and leave Cancer’s budgets to ordinary prudence.
