What sets Cardinal Signs apart
The cardinal signs are the four that begin at the turning points of the Sun's year: Aries at the March equinox, Cancer at the June solstice, Libra at the September equinox and Capricorn at the December solstice. Cardinal comes from the Latin for hinge, and the Greeks called them tropical, meaning turning. All four have different rulers, Mars, the Moon, Venus and Saturn, and each of them is of a different element.
