What sets Dominant Modality apart
Modality is tallied the same way as element, over the twelve signs grouped by three. With ten bodies the three modes average a little over three each, so a mode holding four or more stands out. Ptolemy's names are tropical for cardinal, solid for fixed and bicorporeal for mutable, and the same threefold division appears in the houses as angular, succedent and cadent.
