In every one of the 91 years from 1940 to 2030 the Sun stood in Leo for the whole of August 8, in every time zone on Earth, between 15.1° and 16.5° of the sign at noon UTC, so an August 8 birthday is a Leo birthday whatever the year or the hour.

At noon UTC on August 8 the Sun is in the second decan of Leo, 10° to 20°, in every one of those years, a face that belongs to Jupiter in the Chaldean order and is read through Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, by triplicity, so the two systems agree; in most years the decan runs from August 2 to August 12, and August 8 is its seventh day.

In most years August 8 is the 17th day of the Sun’s season in Leo, which runs from July 23 to August 22 counted at noon UTC, with 14 days of it still to come. August 8 is the 220th day of a common year and the 221st of a leap year, with 145 days of the year still to come after it.

August 8 birthday personality

Both systems give the middle of Leo to Jupiter, so tradition reads the sign’s generosity at its widest: the host, the patron, the one who believes in other people out loud. Its caution is the promise made bigger than the purse.

Born on the 8th, your number is the 8 unmixed, read in numerology as stewardship, effort and the handling of power and money. Tradition links the day with a capacity to carry responsibility for others. In a fire sign the 8’s authority is read as leadership by example, the one who sets the pace and expects others to keep it.

A question to carry from August 8: where does your warmth need to become a decision someone can rely on?

The Sun in Leo and the number 8 are only part of the story: your Moon, your rising sign and the rest of your chart have as much to say, and the tradition offers all this as a mirror, never a verdict.

Birthday number 8

Born on the 8th, your birthday number is simply 8, the day itself: an 8 vibration supports power, ambition, money, mastery, and authority, with mastery, stewardship, and executive force as its gift and pressure, material fixation, or control issues as its strain.

Your 2027 numbers

For a birthday on August 8 the house method reduces the birth month and the day on their own and adds the Universal Year of 2027, 11 (2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11, a master number kept whole), as it stands: August, the 8th month, gives 8, the 8th gives 8, and 8 + 8 + 11 = 27, which reduces to 9, so 2027 is your Personal Year 9.

A Personal Year 9 is read as the closing year of a nine-year cycle, a time to finish, forgive and clear space. With the Universal Year an 11, the house reads the release as making room for an inspired new beginning.

Personal Months of 2027, a Personal Year 9: Jan 1 Feb 11 Mar 3 Apr 4 May 5 Jun 6 Jul 7 Aug 8 Sep 9 Oct 1 Nov 2 Dec 3

In 2027 August 8 falls on a Sunday, the day the old reckoning gives to the Sun, and is a Personal Day 7 (8 + 8 = 16, then 7) in a Personal Month 8 (9 + 8 = 17, then 8), while February is a master month 11; the Personal Year itself turns on 1 January, not on the birthday.
