Saturn in Aries all year: your 12th house

Saturn in your 12th house is in its joy, the old books say: a year of retreat, of closing a long chapter, and of private work before a new beginning. For Taurus that is the planet of structure in every tradition that names the seven standing in the 12th house, and in Aries it stands in the sign of its fall, where the old books say it works with less ease than anywhere.

It turns retrograde on 9 August at 27°52′ Aries and direct on 24 December at 21°01′ Aries, so the second half of the year is read as a review of what the first half built in your 12th house: rest and retreat, solitude, and hidden patterns.

Finish something that has lingered so long you stopped seeing it.

Jupiter in Leo, then Virgo: your 4th and 5th houses

Jupiter begins the year in Leo, your 4th house, retrograde until 13 April, when it turns direct at 16°59′ Leo. Until 26 July, Jupiter in your 4th house is read as growth at home: a larger household, a move, a property matter or simply more peace with family.

On 26 July Jupiter enters Virgo, your 5th house, and stays there for the rest of the year. From 26 July, Jupiter in your 5th house is read as a year of joy: romance, creativity and children all have more room, and pleasure is easier to justify.

The tradition calls Jupiter the greater benefic and reads its houses as where help and growth come most easily, so for Taurus the doors stand in the 4th and then the 5th, with the old warning that Jupiter enlarges whatever it touches, the wanted and the unwanted alike.

Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the Moon’s nodes

Uranus stays in Gemini, your 2nd house, all year. Uranus in your 2nd house is read as unstable or unusual income: new ways of earning, and values that change faster than expected.

Love in 2027 for Taurus

Venus, the lesser benefic, crosses your 5th house of romance (Virgo) from 20 August to 13 or 14 September, and your 7th house of partnership (Scorpio) from 8 October to 1 November. The tradition reads those weeks as Taurus’s warmest of the year for courtship and for agreements made in good faith. • 9 February to 3 March: Mercury retrograde from 5°58′ Pisces back to 20°55′ Aquarius, your 11th and 10th houses. For Taurus in February, Mercury retrograde in your 11th house is read as old friends reappearing and group plans needing to be renegotiated.
• 10 June to 4 July: Mercury retrograde from 6°21′ Cancer back to 27°28′ Gemini, your 3rd and 2nd houses.
