Libra and the February 2027 annular solar eclipse
For Libra, the annular solar eclipse of Saturday 6 February 2027 falls in Aquarius, which counted by whole signs from Libra is your 5th house: the house of romance, creativity and children. At the north node, an eclipse in the 5th house is read as an invitation into joy: a romance, a creative project or a child’s new stage that asks for more of your heart than you planned to give.

The eclipse in your 5th house
The eclipse is greatest at 16:00 UTC on 6 February, with the Sun and the Moon together at 17°37′ Aquarius, the fifth sign counted from Libra.
For Libra in February, the eclipse lands in the 5th house, the place the Hellenistic astrologers called Good Fortune: Agathe Tyche, the place where Venus rejoices, the house of children, pleasure and play.
In love the February eclipse touches romance, dating, courtship and the play that keeps love from going stale; at work, creative work and any project you care about for its own sake; and with money, spending on pleasure, and money risked rather than saved.
The nodes run through Aquarius and Leo this year, so Libra’s eclipse axis runs from the 5th house to the 11th, the axis of the heart and the hope: personal joy and the friends and causes you belong to.
On 2 August, 177 days later, the total solar eclipse falls at the other end of that axis, in your 11th house, and Libra’s two solar eclipses of 2027 will have spoken from both ends of it.
On 6 February Libra’s traditional ruler, Venus, stands in Capricorn, your 4th house, so the tradition would read the eclipse’s news as reaching Libra through the 4th house as well, the house of home, family and roots.

Libra’s eclipse season
On 20 February, 14 days after the solar eclipse, the penumbral lunar eclipse at 23:13 UTC dims the Moon at 1°58′ Virgo, across Libra’s 12th house, the house of rest, solitude and the hidden life, where the tradition would look for what is ripening or ending.
Astrologers read an eclipse over months rather than on its day, so for Libra the 5th house stays in the foreground from 6 February until the next eclipse season, which the Almanac’s ephemeris puts in July.
