What sets Solar Return apart

A solar return chart is cast for the exact instant the Sun regains its natal zodiacal longitude, which falls within a day or so of the birthday, and the date and hour move each year. Because the Sun's yearly circuit is 365.24 days, the return comes about six hours later each year, with a leap year putting it back. The chart is calculated for a place, and the place chosen, birthplace or current residence, changes the angles and houses.

Drift: about 6 hours later each year, and about 18 hours earlier in a leap year
Place: the angles change with the place chosen, birthplace or current residence
Old name: the revolution of the year, as in Abu Ma'shar's Revolutions of the Years of Nativities
