A universal day is computed from the calendar alone, so it is identical for every person alive. A personal day begins from your birth date, so two people standing in the same room are usually in different ones. That is the whole point of it: a calendar everybody shares cannot tell you anything about you in particular.
What the nine ask for
A 1 is for beginning and going first. A 2 is for pairing, patience, and waiting a beat. A 3 is for saying it out loud. A 4 is for the unglamorous work everything later stands on.
