What sets Quincunx apart
The quincunx is the 150-degree relation, five signs apart, and the old books did not count it as an aspect: signs that far apart share no element, no modality and no polarity, and cannot see each other. They are the signs in aversion, the Sixth and Eighth House relations. Kepler is among the first to list it as an aspect; the name is Latin for five twelfths.
