What sets Crown Chakra apart
Sahasrara means 'thousand-petalled'. In the six-centre Shatchakranirupana it is not one of the six at all but stands above them, the place where Shakti, raised by the kundalini, meets Shiva. The seven-centre count that adds it is the later popular scheme, with the brow centre Ajna (two petals) as the sixth.
