What sets Bundle Chart Shape apart
In Jones's Bundle all ten planets lie within a single trine, 120 degrees or about four signs, leaving two thirds of the wheel empty. It is the tightest of his seven shapes and the one with the most empty space. Because planets stand so close together, they make many conjunctions and the wide empty region leaves most of the signs and houses uninhabited.
- Span: all planets within about 120 degrees, a trine
- Empty part: about 240 degrees, two thirds of the wheel
- Signs used: roughly four signs, a third of the zodiac
- Source: Marc Edmund Jones, 1941, the first of his seven shapes in the usual list
- Leading planet: the first planet in zodiacal order after the empty arc
Often mistaken for something else: A Bowl fills half the wheel, 180 degrees, and a Bundle only a third, 120. A Stellium is three or more planets in one sign or house, a far smaller group than a Bundle.
