What sets Book of Revelation apart
The last book of the New Testament names itself an apokalypsis, an unveiling, given to John on the island of Patmos, and it opens with letters to seven churches of Roman Asia. After the letters comes a heaven-and-earth vision in three sevens: seals, trumpets and bowls. It ends with the descent of the new Jerusalem. The number 666 is in 13:18, with some manuscripts reading 616.
